   Transcribe, clean, and clip in Descript

   Import or record your podcast directly in Descript. It auto-generates a timestamped transcript with speaker labels in minutes — no separate transcription tool needed. Use the Remove Filler Words feature to clean the audio automatically, then use the transcript to select your best 60–90 second clips. Descript lets you edit audio and video by editing text: delete a word from the transcript and it disappears from the audio. Export clips in square (1:1) for Instagram/LinkedIn and vertical (9:16) for TikTok/Reels.

   Extract content assets with Claude

   Paste the full transcript into Claude and run one extraction prompt: 5 tweet-sized quotes, 3 LinkedIn insight paragraphs, 1 TikTok hook line, a blog post outline, and a short episode description for show notes. One prompt, seven content pieces. Claude handles long transcripts up to 200K tokens without losing context — so the LinkedIn posts actually understand the episode's argument, not just surface quotes.

   Design quote cards and covers with Canva

   Use Canva to turn the best quotes Claude extracted into shareable quote cards. Create a reusable quote card template with your podcast branding (colors, logo, episode number). Also create platform-specific episode cover art — square for Instagram, rectangular for Twitter performs much better than a generic thumbnail.

   Schedule the full week with Buffer

   Load all your content pieces into Buffer and schedule them across the week. A single episode can fuel 7+ posts: Day 1 episode announcement, Day 2 audiogram clip, Day 3 quote card, Day 4 LinkedIn insight post, Day 5 TikTok clip, Day 6 second quote card, Day 7 call for next episode topic. Space them out so your feed stays active all week from one recording session.

   Automate the pipeline with Make

   Once the manual workflow is proven, use Make to automate: trigger on new Descript export ready → send transcript to Claude via API → create Canva designs from template via API → draft in Buffer. This reduces a 60-minute repurposing workflow to about 10 minutes of review and approval.
