   Deploy n8n

   Self-host via Docker (docker pull n8nio/n8n) or n8n Cloud. For production: use Docker Compose with PostgreSQL backend instead of SQLite for persistent workflow state.

   Connect Your First Integration

   n8n has 400+ native nodes. Start with Webhook trigger → HTTP Request → Supabase or Postgres node. Credentials are encrypted and stored locally.

   Wire Up an AI Node

   Add the Anthropic or OpenAI node to inject LLM reasoning into any workflow step. Pass tool call results as JSON to the next node without custom code.

   Set Up Error Handling

   Add an Error Trigger workflow that catches failures across all workflows and sends Slack/email alerts. n8n execution history stores every run with full payload inspection.

   Schedule and Monitor

   Use Cron trigger nodes for scheduled runs. Monitor via the n8n Executions panel or export logs to your observability stack (Datadog, Grafana) via HTTP Request node.
