1. Run a deep search with Perplexity

   Start with Perplexity Pro for real-time, cited web research. Ask your core question, then drill into follow-ups using its thread mode. Every answer includes source links — click through to verify the 3-5 most important claims before moving on.
2. Synthesize with Claude

   Paste your Perplexity findings into Claude with this prompt: Synthesize these sources into a structured brief with: (1) key findings, (2) conflicting viewpoints, (3) open questions, (4) recommended next steps. Claude handles the synthesis; Perplexity handled the sourcing.
3. Capture and structure in Notion AI

   Create a Research Brief template in Notion with sections for Background, Findings, Sources, and Action Items. Paste the synthesis in, then use Notion AI to reformat, shorten, or expand any section. Tag it with topic and date for searchability.
4. Automate recurring research with Make

   For topics you research regularly — competitors, industry news, keywords — use Make to schedule a weekly Perplexity search via API, summarize with Claude, and append the result to a running Notion database. Wake up Monday with a fresh briefing waiting.
